Biography

Rankin grew up racing PHRF on Lake Ontario, as well as numerous distance races including the 2016 Newport to Bermuda race. While on VOST, he served as jib trimmer aboard j/105 Avenger and RP66 Zaraffa. During his time at Navy he has competed in numerous events such as the Marblehead to Halifax race, the 175th anniversary New York Yacht Club regatta, the Around Long Island regatta, and the j/105 Annapolis regatta.
