Biography
As a junior, Pitts sailed on Wahoo over the summer as the race primary pit and watch jib/spin trimmer, getting second in the SYC Seguin Island Trophy Race, second in Edgartown Yacht Club 'Round the Buoys Race, third in Edgartown Yacht Club 'Round the Island Race and the first to finish in ALIR. Sailed in Spain for the fall semester, competing in the Vigo Vuelta del Mundo Regatta, among others. As a sophomore, he competed in the AYC Rate to the Lighthouse, AYC Fall Series, AYC Spring Series, Solomon's Race.Â
