Naval Academy Athletics

Grammer grew up in the backwood lakes of Northern Idaho where he gained his love for water. He had no prior sailing experience before coming to USNA. During is 3/C summer he served as the primary jib trimmer aboard the Farr 40 Ranger and NA22 Integrity. During his 3/C year Justus served as a skipper for the JVOST team, and in the spring became the navigator aboard TP-52 Holligan. For the fall of his 2/C year he has returned to his roots and is a jib trimmer aboard NA22 Integrity. Justus has competed in the NYYC Race Week, NYYC Annual Regatta, Around Martha's Vineyard Race, Block Island Race week and NASS Spring Race in addition to numerous other local regattas. Majoring in mechanical engineering.
