Biography
Navarro grew up playing baseball and flying planes, and had no sailing experience before coming to USNA. He first picked up sailing during Plebe summer and served as a jib/ spinnaker trimmer on a Colgate in the fall of plebe year. In the spring and summer, Swab found his way onto the bowteam of NA 22 Integrity and participated in the 2017 Annapolis to Newport Race as well as the Marion to Bermuda Race. In 2018, he again served on the bow of NA 22 for the Southern Bay Race Week and Annapolis to Bermuda Race. In 2019, he served as the XO and bowman of NA 23 Defiance for the Annapolis to Newport Race as well as the Marion to Bermuda Race.
