Biography

McAlister grew up wrestling and playing football in both Alaska and Oregon. Having no prior experience sailing, he joined the Sailing Team and learned to sail through the JVOST program. On his current Navy 44 he serves the the mastman, but also has experience running the bow. As of this past summer, Mark has participated in the NASS Spring Race, Annapolis to Newport, and the Marion to Bermuda race. Majoring in ocean engineering.
