Robbins is from Broadway, Va. ... grew up running and swimming, but when he came to the Academy decided he wanted to race sailboats on VOST ... during his first few years on the team, he served primarily as a jib trimmer and navigator on board a Colgate 26, Navy 44, J/122, and Farr 40 ... named named skipper of J/105 Allegiance during the fall of his junior year, and then skipper of the Ker 50 Wahoo for his senior senior ... he has competed in the New York Annual Regatta twice, Block Island Race Week, Annapolis to Newport, and Newport to Bermuda ... currently serves as the VOST team captain and skipper of NA24 Gallant ... majoring in history.
