Biography
Haines started sailing on Lake Murray near Columbia, South Carolina. As a member of VOST, he has served as a skipper for the team's Colgate 26 fleet, sailed on the Mk1 Navy 44 Swift in the NASS Spring Regatta and NYYC Annual Regatta, trimmed jib on the J-105 Allegiance, and trimmed spinnaker on the Farr40 Ranger over the summer in the NYYC Annual Regatta and Block Island Race Week where the boat finished 3rd in both competitions. Currently Pierson is the jib trimmer on NA-25 Tenacious. Majoring in cyber operations.
