Biography

Caraher grew up sailing on the Great South Bay in New York. He raced 420s, Lasers and Optis on the bay before attending the academy. While on VOST, he has been helmsman on Navy 44s, Wahoo and Hooligan. This summer he served as the skipper of the R/P 66 Zaraffa. He and his crew sailed in the Marblehead to Halifax Race, NYYC 175th Anniversary Regatta and Around Long Island Race.
