SENIOR (2018-19): Watson captained Navy is his final season at the Academy … He competed 13 times during his senior season and started all 13 times in smallbore and twice in air rifle … His average of 576.2 was second-best on the team and it was sparked by a season-best of 584 in the Star Match at Army … Also against Army, Watson fired a season-high of 588 in air rifle to finish with a career-high 1,172 in combined scoring … He averaged 579.2 in air rifle and 1,155.4 in combined for the season … During his first appearance at the NCAA Championship, Watson shot a 577 in smallbore and a 578 in air rifle to finish with a 1,155 overall

JUNIOR (2017-18):Watson took part in all 13 teams events during the year and average 575.8 in smallbore and 578.4 in air rifle … he set a career-high in smallbore during the early portion of the season with a 586 at Kentucky on Oct. 15 … his season-best in air rifle came at the John Jay – NCAA Qualifier on Feb. 17 with total of 588.

SOPHOMORE (2016-17): One of two Mids to appear and be in the starting lineup in all 12 contests in 2016-17 ... posted the second-best aggregate scoring average amongst Mids with seven or more appearances at 1156.0 ... his 573.0 smallbore average was second-best on the team, while his 583.0 air rifle average was the fourth highest ... surpassed the 570-point mark in smallbore in nine matches with a career-best 581 coming versus West Virginia on Jan. 20 ... equally as consistent in air rifle with nine 580-plus results ... shot a season-high 588 against Nebraska on Jan. 21

FRESHMAN (2015-16): Shot in all 14 competitions during this first season of collegiate action with 14 starts in smallbore and 12 in air rifle … ranked fourth on Navy in smallbore, air rifle and aggregate scoring averages with respective marks of 564.3, 582.8 and 1147.1 … turned in his best performances versus Navy’s service academy rivals as he recorded a season-high 580 smallbore result on Nov. 11 at the President’s Trophy Match and a season-best 590 in air rifle against Army in the 2016 Star Match … posted air rifle scores of 580 or better on 12 different occasions

PRIOR TO NAVY: Earned three letters shooting with the rifle team at Enterprise High School … served as his squad’s captain as a senior in 2013-14 … spent the 2014-15 school year at NAPS

PERSONAL: Son of Ben and Sheila … participated with the JROTC, National Honor Society and French National Honor Society while in high school ... named to the Naval Academy's Commandant's List once and Dean's List once.
