SENIOR (2020-21): Captained Navy during her season … Finished the year with an average of 574.6 in smallbore and 586.8 in air rifle over her 10 appearances … She finished third on the team in smallbore scoring and aggregate scoring after posting a combined average of 1,161.4 … Kang had her best outing of the season on Feb. 20 against North Carolina State where she finished with an overall score of 1,173 behind a 582 in smallbore and 591 in air rifle, which were all season-highs … Kang was named Navy’s GARC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was also a CRCA Scholastic All-American

JUNIOR (2019-20): During her junior campaign, Kang led the Midshipmen in smallbore scoring after averaging 576.6 in 14 competitions for the season … She highlighted her season in smallbore with a career-high 584 against Jan. 17 … In air rifle, Kang fired her career-best in Navy’s second match of the season on Oct. 12 with a 594 … Her season-high overall score came on Jan. 17 with a 1,173, which was two points shy of her career-high … Kang was selected as Navy’s GARC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and she also set to be on Navy’s NCAA Championship squad.

SOPHOMORE (2018-19): Kang started 13 competitions for Navy in both disciplines … She finished third on the team with an average of 1,162.9 and an air rifle mark of 587.2 … Her season and career-best in air rifle came against John Jay in the NCAA Qualifying Match with a 594 … Kang totaled her season-best smallbore score of 579 in back-to-back events during the year in President’s Trophy Match and then against Kentucky … Against Kentucky, she also shot her best combined score of the year of 1,170 … Kang also made her second-straight appearance at the NCAA Championship where she finished with a 570 total in smallbore and a 587 in air rifle … She was also selected as Navy’s GARC Scholar-Athlete of the Year

FRESHMAN (2017-18): Kang earned a spot in the NCAA Championships field in the air rifle during her freshman season … she placed 30th overall with a score of 587 at the NCAA Championships on March 10 … in 14 appearances in air rifle she averaged 589.4 and posted a season-best of 594 against North Carolina State on Jan. 21 … in smallbore action Kang averaged 574.7 in 13 matches … her season-best mark in smallbore was 584 on Jan. 26 against West Virginia.
