Cho joined Navy's staff in June of 2020 as the Mids' Assistant Coach/Director of Operations and Recruiting. Cho spent the last two years serving as the Director of Operations for the University of Virginia Women's Basketball team and has been affiliated with the program in various capacities for the last seven years.
"I am beyond elated that Anna has chosen to join us at Navy," remarked Taylor. "I had the opportunity to work with her at Virginia and the impact she made on the entire program was immeasurable. She is always two steps ahead of everything operationally and in-tuned to the needs of everyone else. She has garnered a well-earned reputation as one of the best Director of Operations in collegiate athletics in a short time at Virginia. I knew from day one we needed Anna here at Navy in order for us to start laying a foundation for success on a daily basis. I have been doing this a long time, Anna is a rare talent and we are incredibly fortunate that she has joined our family."
"I am immensely grateful to Coach Taylor and the United States Naval Academy for this opportunity to be a part of the Navy Women's Basketball program," said Cho. "I am humbled by this opportunity to work with a remarkable staff led by Coach Taylor, whom I consider an incredible mentor, teacher, and coach. I look forward to joining this historic program and am honored to be a part of this family."
A member of the Cavaliers her entire career in athletics, Cho was the Director of Operations for the Virginia Women's Basketball team from May 2018 until taking this position at Navy. In her role, Cho oversaw all operational and administrative aspects of the program, including managing the team's budget, supervising office personnel, coordinating the team's schedule and travel logistics, and serving as the liaison between the head coach and athletic administrators and various departments within the university. She also played a leading role in organizing the student-athletes' wellness and development efforts.
Prior to joining the staff in a full-time role, she was a Graduate Assistant and undergraduate student manager and worked alongside Taylor from 2016-2018, when the program reached a pair of postseason events: the 2017 WNIT and the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
