Wolfe joined the Navy Women's Basketball staff in June of 2020 as the program's Strength and Conditioning Coach and Director of Player Development. A four-year letterwinner and team captain at the University of Virginia, Wolfe most recently served on staff at Old Dominion University.
“Kelsey is a tremendous addition to the Naval Academy family,” remarked Taylor. “Obtaining a great Strength and Conditioning Coach was the top priority for me when I took the job at Navy. Kelsey was the first call I made in that process as she was who I wanted to lead our player development efforts. She was a great player who truly understood the game at a high level and who had an incredible competitive spirit. She trained under Mike Curtis, UVA Men’s Basketball Strength and Conditioning Coach, who is best strength coach in the country in my opinion. Her knowledge of sports performance combined with her understanding of the game will be instrumental in our player development process. The day Kelsey agreed to join us at Navy was an incredible win for our program and players. I am truly elated to add Kelsey to our NWB family.”
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Navy Women's Basketball program,” said Wolfe. “I am honored to be able to work at the United States Naval Academy and be surrounded by incredible people and student-athletes. Coach Taylor is well respected in the basketball community and I want to thank him for giving me this opportunity. I can't wait to get started.”
