High School / Personal: Earned varsity letters with the cross country and track and field programs at Portsmouth High School … Collected three Rhode Island State Championships during her senior year in 2018-19 as she won individual titles at the state cross country meet and later in the 1,000m and 1,500m runs at the winter indoor championship … Named the 2018-19 Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year for Cross Country … Placed 10th at the 2018 Nike Cross National Northeast Regional Championship, where she was top finisher from the state Rhode Island … Helped Portsmouth to Rhode Island Girls Cross Country State Championship titles in both 2017 and 2018, as well as a runner-up result at the 2019 indoor state championship … Served as team captain during her senior season … Participated in National Honor Society and Language Honor Society … Daughter of Daniel and Jeanne … Mother was a member of the cross country and track and field team at Northeastern University, while grandfather, Jack Hand, competed in baseball, cross country, and track and field at Fordham University … Older sister Mary Lyn (‘21) was a member the Navy cross country and track and field teams.
