2020 (Senior): Played and started three games on the season before suffering an injury … Was recovering from injury when the season was shortened by the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) … Tallied nine points on six goals and three assists, while adding seven draw controls, seven caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls … Scored a season-high four goals against Saint Joseph’s while adding a pair of scores against No. 8 Virginia … Had an assist in all three games played … Won a season-best three ground balls against Virginia and Saint Joseph’s … Registered a season-high four caused turnovers against No. 21 Duke, while adding a pair of CTs against SJU … Picked up a pair of ground balls against the Blue Devils.
 
2019 (Junior): Named 2019 Second Team All-Patriot League … Played and started in all 21 games on the season … Tallied 50 points on 34 goals and 16 assists, while winning 83 draw controls, picking up 44 ground balls, and causing 29 turnovers … Scored goals in 15 games, including multiple scores in 11 contests with hat tricks in six games … Had a season-high four goals against Saint Joseph’s and Army West Point (Patriot League Tournament) … Registered a season-best three assists at Colgate … Won at least one draw control in all 21 games with multiple draws in 16 games … Had a season-high 10 draw controls in a 14-13 victory over No. 11 Florida, while adding nine draws at No. 6 Virginia (NCAA Tournament) … Picked up at least one ground ball in 20 games with multiple GB in 12 with a season-high six vs. No. 19 Towson … Caused turnovers in 14 games with nine multi-CT games, including a season-best five caused turnovers against Towson … Named to the Patriot League All-Tournament team, finishing with seven goals (two hat tricks), five draw controls, four ground balls, and a caused turnover … Tabbed Patriot League Midfielder of the Week on Feb. 18.
 
2018 (Sophomore): Played in 18 games on the season, making three starts … Made first collegiate start at American, while also earning starts at Lafayette and against Boston University … Finished the season with five points on four goals and an assist, while adding 30 draw controls, 11 ground balls, and three caused turnovers … Notched a pair of goals at Army West Point, while tallying two points (1g, 1a) at American … Had multiple draw controls in five games, including a season-best nine draws against American … Registered 19 DCs in her three starts (6.33 per game) … Had a season-best two ground balls against Lafayette, Boston University, and No. 9 Loyola (Patriot League Championship) … Recorded caused turnovers against American, Lehigh (PL Semifinal) and No. 9 Loyola (PL Championship).
 
2017 (Freshman): Played in 11 games on the season … Recorded three points on three goals … Made collegiate debut in the season opener against Longwood … Scored a pair of goals for first collegiate points at No. 10 Duke … Added a goal against Army … Tallied five ground balls, including a season-high two ground balls at No. 10 Duke … Had seven draw controls with a season-best three against the Blue Devils … Caused three turnovers with a season-high two at Liberty.
 
High School / Personal: A 2016 Ardrey Kell High School graduate, lettering for four years in lacrosse … Two-time US Lacrosse All-American (2015, 2016) … Named an All-Conference honoree three times (2013, 2015, 2016) … Garnered Co-Conference Player of the Year accolades in 2014 … Member of National Honor Society … Daughter of Alexander and Doreen Heyward … Brother, Alex, and grandfather, Shannon, both played lacrosse at the Academy … Alex competed from 2012-15, while Shannon was a member from 1954-57 … Along with Alex (’15) and Shannon (’57), father, Alexander ('84), uncle, Alfred ('84), and great grandfather, Alexander S. Jr. ('30) all attended and graduated from the Academy.
