    Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach

Josh Dionne enters his second season as an assistant coach for the 2016 season at Navy. Dionne's focus is on Navy's offensive attack and has an active role in recruiting.

In 2015, Dionne saw Navy's attack finish 15 in the nation in scorring offense at 13.00 goals per game. He guided Navy's most prolific draw specialist Loren Generi to her strongest offensive output, tallying a career-high 86 points on 57 goals and 29 assists. Dionne's offense produced three All-Patriot League honorees, which included Generi (first), freshman Jenna Collins (first) and junior Katie Gallagher (second).

Dionne is a two-time USILA Division I All-American and was a part of Duke's back-to-back run as NCAA national champions (2013-14). A four-year letterwinner at attack for the Blue Devils, he accrued 162 points on 140 goals and 22 assists in 78 games. Dionne was selected 18th overall in the 2014 Major League Lacrosse draft by the Charlotte Hounds.

Dionne spent the summer of 2011 mentoring and coaching 14 to 16 year old players as the New England Select head lacrosse coach. He helped players gain knowledge of the game, improve their lacrosse skills and instill a good team philosophy. Dionne will be the Mids' second assistant and will guide the offense.

Dionne graduated from Duke in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in arts of history.
