Valerie (Cappelaere) Delaney; given to the member of the senior class that has shown the spirit and character with which Cappelaere lived her life … Played in eight games, including six Patriot League game, during the season … Caused a pair of turnovers, registering takeaways against Mount St. Mary’s and Boston University … Also saw action against East Carolina, Colgate, Bucknell, Lehigh, Lafayette, and American.
2023 (Junior): Competed in eight games during the season … Registered a ground ball, a draw control, and a caused turnover … Won a draw control in her first action of the season against Oregon … Caused a turnover, picking up the ensuing ground ball at American … Also saw action against #18 Richmond, Mount St. Mary’s, Bucknell, Lehigh, Lafayette, and Holy Cross.
2022 (Sophomore): Played in six games during the season … Recorded a pair of ground balls, picking up a ground ball against George Washington and Bucknell … Made collegiate debut in the season opener against Cal, while also seeing action against Lafayette, Boston, and American.
