Academic Information
•     Operations research major.
•    Was named an ITA National Scholar-Athlete in 2024.
•    Has received academic honors from the USNA in two semesters.
•    Was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2024.

Athletic Honors 
•    Teamed with Sasha Panyan to earn the 2023 and ‘24 Patriot League Doubles Team-of-the-Year award.
•    Also received a second-team all-league nod in 2023.

2023-24 / Junior
•    Posted a 16-19 record in singles on the season, which included a 13-8 record during the spring campaign.
•    Totaled a 7-5 record at No. 2 singles.
•    Put together an 18-12 record in doubles.
•    Compiled a 13-6 record in dual matches.
•    Posted a 4-1 mark against league opponents.
•    Teamed with Sasha Panyan for a 15-8 record in doubles on the season.
•    The pair finished the spring campaign with a 12-5 record, with all of those matches played at the No. 1 flight where it was 4-0 against league foes.
•    The Garner-Panyan team closed the year with wins in each of its last seven matches that were finished.
•    That closing stretch helped it break the Navy record for the most career wins by a doubles team with 45.

2022-23 / Sophomore
•    Tallied a 15-18 record on the year in singles.
•    Posted a 13-10 during the spring season, which included a 7-1 record against league opponents.
•    Compiled an 11-5 record at No. 3 singles.
•    Recorded an eight-match winning streak from March 26-April 21.
•    Ended the doubles season with an overall record of 29-6, a 25-1 record in dual matches and an 8-0 record in league matches.
•    Compiled a 22-1 record at No. 1 doubles.
•    He and Sasha Panyan produced an overall record of 26-6, a 22-1 record in dual matches and a 7-0 record in league matches.
•    The team ended the year on a 16-match winning streak in matches that were finished.
•    The pair also held a 5-2 lead in its league tournament final match against Boston U. and was tied, 5-5, against the No. 58 team in the country from No. 5 Virginia in the NCAA Tournament when the respective matches were stopped.

2021-22 / Freshman
•    Posted a 21-8 record in singles.
•    This included a 15-3 record in dual matches.
•    Was a combined 9-0 at the Nos. 2-3 flights.
•    Ended the year with wins in the final 13 matches that were played to completion.
•    Totaled a 25-7 record in doubles which included a 20-3 record in dual matches.
•    Teamed with Jack Dabek for a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles against No. 15 North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, which helped the Mids win the doubles point against the Tar Heels.
•    The Dabek-Garner pairing posted a 7-1 record in their last eight matches and a 10-2 record on the season.
•    Individually, he put together a 13-1 record in his last 14 matches that were played to completion.

High School
•    Graduated from Broadneck High School.
•    Lettered in tennis at the school.
•    Won the county and regional titles in singles as a freshman and sophomore.
•    Was ranked 88th nationally on tennisrecruiting.com.

Personal 
•    Brother, Finn, graduated from Navy in 2023 and was a member of the tennis team.
