Campbell joined the Navy staff in July of 2022 after three years at the University of Virginia.

In her first season with the Mids in 2022-23, Campbell helped the squad return to the top of the Patriot League standings as Navy finished runner-up in both the first varsity four and second varsity eight races before coming from behind to secure gold in the first varsity eight race at the year-end Patriot League Championship. The victory helped the program to its eighth trip to the NCAA Championship Regatta. Alongside head coach Joe Schlosberg, fellow assistant Molly Milligan and boatman Steve Fluhr, Campbell was recognized in the 2023 CRCA Region 2 Co-Staff of the Year announcement.

The 2023-24 season saw Navy once again finish near the top of the Patriot League, though the Mids were edged by Boston University for the conference title and came in runner-up at the year-end regatta. With Campbell's guidance, four Mids were selected to All-Patriot League teams, including freshman Harlie Hanley, who quickly grabbed a seat in Navy's V8 crew and thrived in her collegiate debut.

Beginning with the Cavaliers as a volunteer assistant coach in August of 2019, Campbell was promoted to a full-time assistant position prior to the spring 2022 season. During her time with the Cavaliers, the team won their 11th and 12th straight ACC Championships, while finishing fifth at the 2021 NCAA Championship and ninth at the 2022 national regatta. Campbell initially worked with the novice rowers at UVA, before moving onto coach the fourth and fifth varsity crews.

A collegiate rower at the University of Mary Washington, Campbell began her coaching career on the youth level with the Nashville Juniors in the spring of 2014 where she led the women’s novice and second varsity crews. She briefly served as the interim head coach of the Nashville Juniors in the fall of 2017 and helped the team to a 10th-place finish at the Head of The Charles in the Women’s Youth 8+, the program’s highest finish to date. Nashville’s novice crew finished third at the Head of the Hooch in Campbell’s final season in 2018.

She graduated from Mary Washington with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2012. Additionally, she completed her Master’s of Education in Exercise Physiology from Virginia in 2022.
