Jessica Deitrick

Named to Joe Schlosberg's staff in August of 2016, Deitrick (nee, Mahon) comes to Annapolis after a successful run at High Point University as the school’s head coach of club rowing. While leading the Panthers’ program, Deitrick was responsible for the competitive efforts of over 40 male and female student-athletes. In the two years she was leading the program, both the men’s and women’s teams prospered in races at the Knecht Cup, Dad Vails, SIRAs and ACRAs. Deitrick’s women’s novice eight crew was ranked first in the ACRA poll for four consecutive weeks this past spring.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Deitrick directed all recruiting efforts, managed and maintained the club’s budget, coordinated travel arrangements and managed the purchasing of all new equipment. She augmented her time on the water as the Director of Club Sports at the university.

Deitrick rowed collegiately as a member of the William Smith varsity crew team. She competed with the Herons for four seasons and served the program as a co-captain in 2006-07 and as a tri-captain in 2007-08.

She graduated William Smith College in May of 2008 with a B.A. in psychology before attaining a Master’s degree in special education from Elon in August of 2011.
