Schlosberg begins his tenth season as head coach of the Navy women's rowing program in 2024-25.

Introduced as Navy’s head coach in August of 2015,

-Schlosberg’s first season (2015-16) in Annapolis was memorable as he led the Mids to the 2016 Patriot League title for the fourth time in program history as the Mids’ edged the Boston University, 49-48 in the final standings ... Navy won the varsity four race and came in second in both the first and second varsity eight competitions to claim the one-point victory and automatic bid in the the NCAA Championship ... At the NCAAs, the Mids turned in their highest-ever finish as they recorded 35 points to rank 19th overall ... Navy’s varsity four finished 16th in its respective event, while the second varsity eight crew took 19th place ... 

2016-17: During his second season in 2017 it was more of the same for Navy as the program won its third straight conference crown with a 51-46 final score over second-place Boston University ... The Mids breezed to victories in V4 and 2V8 action to build up a five-point lead before closing strong and finishing in second place in the first varsity eight race. ... At the 2017 NCAA Championship, Navy placed 20th overall. The Mids’ varsity four boat lead the team’s effort with a 19th place finish .... In recognition of the program’s success, Schlosberg was named the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association - Region 2 Coach of the Year

2017-18: In his third season at the helm of the program, Schlosberg and the Mids continued performing at a high level as they captured the team's fourth straight Patriot League Championship and sixth all-time; Navy outscored Boston University, 50-46 with V8 and 2V8 victories leading the way ... Honored as the CRCA - Region 2 Coach of the Year, Navy finished a program-best 17th overall at the 2018 NCAA Championship; individually, the Mids' V4 placed 14th in nation, while its V8 (19th) and 2V8 (18th) also finished in the top-20 ... Navy completed the year ranked 18th in the NCAA Division I Poll, the first time in program history that the Mids have ever been ranked ... With his guidance freshman Alexandria Vallancey-Martinson was named a CRCA Second Team All-American

2018-19: The success from Schlosberg's first three season continued on in year four as the Mids repeated once again as the top program in the Patriot League with a dominant performance at the league's championship regatta where Navy's V8, 2V8 and V4 all collected victories; the win was Navy's seventh all-time league title; additionally Navy's V8 was named Patriot League Boat of the Year, while Schlosberg garnered PL Coach of the Year laurel ... Competing in the NCAA Championship for the fifth straight year, the Mids saw all three of their boats qualify and race in C-Finals for the first time in program history; Navy's V8 placed 15th overall, while its V4 was 16th and its 2V8 finished 18th ... In the final USRowing/CRCA Coaches Division I Poll of the 2019 season, Navy was ranked 17th overall. They were the only non-Power 5 or Ivy League school to finish the year in the top-20 ... Schlosberg and his staff were honored as the CRCA Region 2 Staff of the Year ... Individually, Alexandria Vallancey-Martinson (2nd) and Ashlyn Dawson (HM) were named CRCA All-Americans.

2019-20: Schlosberg’s fifth season as head coach of the Mids was curtailed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic cancelling the entire spring campaign ... Navy was ranked 17th overall in the NCAA Division I USRowing/CRCA Preseason Poll ... Vallancey-Martinson received an invitation to the 2020 US Rowing Under-23 Women’s National Team Selection Camp. The camp was cancelled by the pandemic.

2020-21: Navy powered through an abridged season, in which the COVID pandemic allowed the Mids to race in just two regular season events before competing in the Patriot League and NCAA Championships ... Navy swept the V8, 2V8 and V4 races at the Patriot League Championship to earn the program's sixth straight league title and eighth all-time; the sweep was the second in as many Patriot League Championships ... Navy's V8 was named the Patriot League Boat of the Year and Schlosberg was recognized as the PL Coach of the Year ... At the NCAA Championship, all three Midshipmen crews raced in the C-Finals with Navy's V4 finishing 14th overall; the team placed 18th in the final standings ... Schlosberg was voted as the CRCA Region 2 Coach of the Year alongside his assistants Mackenzie Whiteside and Megan Fitzpatrick, who were honored as the CRCA Region 2 Staff of the Year ... In the final USRowing/CRCA Coaches' Poll of the 2021 season, Navy was ranked 20th overall. The Mids were one of only two non-Power 5 or Ivy League school to finish the year in the top-20, SMU at No. 10 was the other ... Alexandria Vallancey-Martinson collected her third CRCA All-American nod as she was selected to the First Team in 2021 ... Vallancey-Martinson won two medals at the 2021 Under-23 World Rowing Championship (a gold with the W8+ and a silver with the W4-).

2021-22 : Navy continued to stake its claim as one of the Patriot League's best as the program came within four points of claiming its seventh consecutive conference crown. At the conclusion of the 2022 Patriot League Championship, the Mids had 46 points to finish third overall. The Mids' V4 collected gold in its classification, while the 2V8 earned silver and the V8 bronze ... In recognition of her individual and team success, junior Millie Oldham was named a 2022 CRCA Pocock Honorable Mention All-American.

2022-23 : Led the Mids to the ninth Patriot League Championship in program history and sixth during his tenure as head coach of Navy. In a dramatic slate of racing, Navy's V4 and 2V8 boats both finished runner-up in the initial two contests of the league regatta to set the stage for a winner-take-all V8 grand final where the Mids came from behind to defeat the Boston University Terriers in the final 400 meters of the race and sprinted away for a 3.548-second margin of victory ... For that victory, he was named the 2023 Patriot League Coach of the Year ... Schlosberg alongside his assistants Anne Campbell and Molly Milligan and boatman Steve Fluhr were voted as the CRCA Region 2 Co-Staff of the Year ... In recognition of her individual and team success, junior Lauren Day was named a 2023 CRCA Pocock Honorable Mention All-American.

2023-24 :  Saw Navy once again finish near the top of the Patriot League, though the Mids were edged by Boston University for the conference title and came in runner-up at the year-end regatta ... Four Mids were selected to All-Patriot League teams, including Lauren Day earning her fourth career All-PL honor.

As Notre Dame Associate Head Coach
Notre Dame’s associate head coach for seven seasons (2008-15), Schlosberg shown himself to be a consistent winner ... During his 14 total years at Notre Dame, Schlosberg was part of a coaching staff that saw 26 different Fighting Irish crews win gold medals at conference championship regattas and capture 10 straight BIG EAST Conference team titles from 2004-13 ... Individually, Schlosberg guided 17 of those 26 crews beginning with his first title in 2002 as the leader of the varsity four boat ... Notre Dame’s athletic department changed conference affiliation prior to the 2014 school year and Schlosberg and Fighting Irish started competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference against stalwart national programs, Virginia, Syracuse and Louisville ... In each of Notre Dame’s first two years in the ACC, the team finished in second place in the conference’s year-end championship ... Schlosberg and Notre Dame’s success on the conference level carried over into strong results on the national scene, as the Fighting Irish qualified for and competed six times at the NCAA Championships since 2006, including the past four seasons (2012-15) ... Beginning with a ninth-place finish in the program’s first-ever appearance in 2006, Notre Dame twice finished ranked amongst the top-10 ... Taking on a field of 22 teams in 2014, Schlosberg and the Fighting Irish equaled its 2006 result with a ninth-place finish ... At that championship, all three Notre Dame boats qualified for petite final action for the first time in team history with Schlosberg’s varsity four crew finishing in 12th place ... As a result of Notre Dame’s success in 2014, Schlosberg and fellow Fighting Irish assistant Marnie Stahl were recognized as the 2014 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association South Region Staff of the Year.

As Notre Dame Assistant Coach
Schlosberg was the Fighting Irish’s second assistant coach from September 2001 through June 2006 before being elevated to first assistant for two years from July 2006 until June 2008.

As Northwestern Assistant Coach
Following graduation, he spent one year on Northwestern’s staff assisting with both the men’s and women’s rowing programs during the 2000-01 season.

Intercollegiate Athletic Experience
A 2000 graduate from Northwestern University with a degree in mechanical engineering, Schlosberg was a four-year member of the Wildcats’ crew team from 1996-2000.

Schlosberg lives in Arnold with his wife Heather, daughter Emily and son Matt.
