Biography
Academic Honors -- Named to the Naval Academy[apos]s Dean[apos]s List during the fall of 2001, as well as to the Superintendent[apos]s List in both semesters of her sophomore and junior years ... named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll as a sophomore.
2003-04 -- Attended the Air Force Academy as an exchange student during the [apos]03 fall semester ... appeared in a limited number of meets on the year, scoring points only in the 200 back against Penn.
2002-03 -- Recorded a season-best time of 4:46.74 in the 400 IM in the trials of the league meet ... would go on to place 16th in the event ... her time of 2:15.18 in the 200 backstroke against Army was the second-fastest on the team on the year.
2001-02 -- Recorded top 200 IM time of the season (2:18.77) against Army ... best 200 fly time of 2:19.14 came against James Madison.
High School -- Graduated from Acton Boxborough High School ... swim team won 1997 and [apos]98 state titles ... was a member of the student council and was elected president of her class ... was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal -- Sarah Marie Mooney ... born Nov. 24, 1982, in Annapolis, Md. ... daughter of Mark and Sarah Mooney ... father graduated from the Academy in 1974, while brother, Marc, graduated in 2004 ... honors oceanography major.
