Biography

Academic Honors -- Named to the Naval Academy[apos]s Dean[apos]s List in the fall of 2002 and to the Commandant[apos]s List in the spring of 2004 ... named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2002 and [apos]03.

2003-04 -- Won a pair of individual and four relay events at the Patriot League Meet ... individually, won the 100 fly for the third-straight year and added her first 100 back title ... her 100 back time of 57.06 set a new Navy record ... set a new school record of 51.06 in placing second in the 100 free ... also was a part of Navy[apos]s 200 and 400 medley and freestyle relay teams that won titles ... named Patriot League and ECAC Swimmer of the Week J13 and F3 ... during the dual meet season, won nine of her 10 100 back races and seven of her eight 100 fly and 100 free races ... totaled 26 wins in 32 races on the year.

2002-03 -- Won the 100 fly at the league meet for the second-straight year ... set a Navy, league meet and Patriot League record in winning the event with a 55.91 ... also placed second in two other events at the championship, recording a 23.52 in the 50 free and a 57.63 in the 100 back, both of which are Navy records ... set a new school record of 51.71 in the 100 free when leading off the league-winning 400 freestyle relay team ... totaled 17 individual event victories on the season in the 100 fly (nine), 100 back (six), and the 50 free (two).

2001-02 -- Won the 100 butterfly at the Patriot League meet with a time of 57.80 ... her time was not only a season best, but was also the third-fastest recorded time in Navy history ... also placed third in the 50 free and eighth in the 100 back at league meet ... swam the second leg of Navy[apos]s school record-setting and league champion 200 free relay team ... posted seven victories during the regular season, with four coming in the 50 freestyle, two in the 100 fly and one in the 100 free.

High School -- Graduated from Huron High School ... competed on swimming, soccer, crew and synchronized swimming teams.

Personal -- Victoria Anne Throckmorton ... born June 3, 1983, in Rochester, Mich. ... daughter of Michael and Martha Throckmorton ... computer science major with a Spanish minor ... is a member of the glee club.
