Biography

• A starter in 15 (5 So // 10 Jr) of the 18 lacrosse games in which he has played during his career
• Has produced points in 15 of the 18 games in which he has played (Lehigh ‘22, Manhattan  and Boston U. ‘23), including goals in 12 contests and assists in 9
• A member of both the Navy football (QB) and lacrosse (A) teams, he made his debut on the lacrosse field in the spring of 2022 after opting to play only football as a freshman
• Played in 30 football games over his career, earning 14 starts (3 Fr // 2 So // 4 Jr // 5 Sr)

2023-24 // Senior Year (Football)
• Saw action in 9 contests, starting each of the last 5 at quarterback
• Closed out the year completing 23 of his 44 passes for 320 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions ... was the team’s third-leading rusher with 257 yards (3.3 yds/carry, 28.6 yds/gm) on 77 carries and a pair of touchdowns
• Completed 10 of his 11 passes (90.9) for 102 yards against East Carolina to break the school record for single-game completion percentage (min. 10 completions) ... it was previously held by Marco Pagnanelli, who completed 88.2 percent (15-17) of his passes against Duke on Oct. 2, 1982 ... it was his second-career game with 100 or more yards passing ... also completed the longest pass of his career, a 49-yarder to Eli Heidenreich
• Completed 7 of his 10 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown in the win over UAB, while carrying the ball 19 times for a career-high tying 109 yards and a touchdown ... at the time, his 45-yard touchdown pass to Regis Velez was the longest pass completion of his career ... scored on a 50-yard touchdown run, his seventh-career rushing TD
• Became the 4th different starting QB for Navy in the fall (the most in the country) when he got the starting nod at Temple ... completed 6 of his 14 passes for a career-high 124 yards and a TD, while leading the team in rushing with 97 yards on 30 carries and a TD ... came into the contest with just 1 carry this season ... the 30 carries are the most by a Navy player since Malcolm Perry carried the ball 38 times against SMU on Nov. 23, 2019 ... threw a 24-yard touchdown to Eli Heidenreich, his 1st passing TD of the season and 4th of his career .. completed the 2-point conversion following the Heidenreich touchdown by connecting with senior co-captain Jayden Umbarger

2022-23 // Junior Year (Lacrosse)
• Juggled lacrosse and football (March 20-April 19) practice throughout the spring
• Despite missing 4 games and seeing minimal action in a fifth, he finished the year as Navy’s second-leading scorer with 33 points on 17 goals and a team-best 16 assists
• punched in a pair of goals against Loyola in the Patriot League Quarterfinals
• Played a phenomenal game at Buckenll in the regular-season finale where he posted 6 points on a career-high 4 goals an 2 assists ... scored his 4 goals on 5 shots
• Returned healthy against Army where he scored a pair of goals on 3 shots
• Saw limited action against Boston U. / missed Villanova, Holy Cross, Loyola and Lafayette
• Produced a goal and an assist in the Mids’ game against #9 Johns Hopkins
• Dealt out an assist in the Mids’ road contest against Colgate
• Paced the team with 4 points on a goal and 3 assists in the league opener against Lehigh
• Turned in a 4-point (2G, 2A) performance at High Point
• Had his 8-game point-scoring streak snapped by Manhattan where he came up empty on a career-high 13 shots
• Turned in a career-high 7 points at Hofstra ... his 3 goals and 4 assists were also then career bests ... among his 3 goals was his first-career extra-man strike
• Opened the season with a 3-point (1-2) performance against Mount St. Mary’s and followed up with a goal and an assist 24 hours later against Queens

2022-23 // Junior Year (Football)
• Played in 9 games on the year, starting each of the last 4 (Cincinnati, Notre Dame, UCF, Army)
• Finished the season with 96 carries for 376 yards (3.9 yds/carry, 41.8 yds/gm) and scored 3 rushing TDs ... completed 4 of his 11 passes for 85 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception
• Carried the ball a career-high 28 times for a team-best and season-high 102 yards against Army ... completed his only pass in the game, a 25-yard touchdown to Maquel Haywood in the first overtime period
• Helped lead the Mids to a 17-14 upset victory over nationally-ranked UCF and directed an offense that accounted for all 248 yards on the ground ... carried the ball 18 times for 24 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown run to give the Mids a 7-0 lead
• Started the Notre Dame game where he recorded 59 yards rushing and a touchdown on 12 carries, while completing 2 of his 4 passes for 57 yards and a TD ... threw a 23-yard touchdown to Mark Walker, marking just his second-career passing touchdown ... following the touchdown throw, he ran in the 2-point conversion for the Mids ... threw a season-long 34-yard pass that set up Daba Fofana’s 36-yard touchdown run late in the opening quarter ... part of an offensive unit that rattle off 363 yards of total offense, the most against the Irish since its 368 yards on Nov. 5, 2016 ... Navy’s 108 yards passing were the most against the Irish since its 118 on Nov. 1, 2014 ... Navy’s 32 points were the most it has scored in the series since dropping a 49-39 contest to Notre Dame on Nov. 1, 2014
• Led the Mids in rushing against Cincinnati with 87 yards on 12 carries, including a season-long 32-yard run
• Assumed the QB duties with 3:07 remaining in the first quarter of the Temple game after Tai Lavatai went down with a season-ending knee injury

2021-22 // Sophomore Year (Lacrosse)
• A starter in 5 of the 6 games in which he saw action, including each of the last 5
• Recorded at point in 5 of the 6 contests (Lehigh 3.5), including each of the last 5
• Dealt out an assist in Navy’s Patriot League Quarterfinals contest against Lehigh
• Extended his goal-scoring streak to 4-consecutive games with a goal in Navy’s final home game of the season against Bucknell
• Produced a career-high 4 points on 2 goals and 2 assists in Navy’s Star Game victory over Army ... it was the first multi-point game of his career and the first assists of his career
• Missed the Holy Cross, Boston U., Loyola and Lafayette games due to injury
• Scored the game’s first goal (13:25) on his lone shot of the game in Navy’s 11-10 victory over #18 Johns Hopkins at Homewood Field
• Made his first start in the Mids’ win over Colgate where he scored his first-collegiate goal ... put 6 of his 11 shots on goal.
• Made his collegiate debut in the Mids’ Patriot League opener against Lehigh where he took 3 shots, had a ground ball and 2 turnovers
• Sat out the first 5 games rehabbing an injury from the Army-Navy football game ... his first practice was on Feb. 28

2021-22 // Sophomore Year (Football)
• A starter at quarterback in 2 (Air Force, Marshall) of the 7 games in which he played
• Closed out the year rushing for 176 yards on 67 attempts (6.0 yds/carry, 25.1 yds/gm), while also completing 7 of his 18 passes for 142 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions
• Injured on his only carry of the Army game, a 10-yard gain, in what was just Navy’s third offensive play of the contest
• Threw his first-career touchdown pass, a 15-yarder, to Chance Warren at Temple
• Entered the Notre Dame game with 2:07 left in the second quarter for an injured Tai Lavatai and played the remainder of the game ... carried the ball 8 times for 8 yards and completed 1 of his 2 passes for 18 yards against the Irish
• Spelled starter Tai Lavatai at Memphis ... carried the ball 19 times for 64 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown at Houston ... it was the longest run by a Navy player at that point in the season ... also completed 3 of his 6 passes for 83 yards, including a career-long 37-yard pass to Mychal Cooper that set up Isaac Ruoss’ 1-yard touchdown run 2 play later
• Made the start against Air Force, carrying the ball 16 times for 31 yards, including a long run of 26 yards
• Navy’s backup QB in the opener against Marshall ... closed out the day with 76 yards rushing on 16 carries and scored the Mids’ lone touchdown which also was the first of his career (1 yd) ... completed 2 of his 3 passes for 26 yards, including a 22-yarder to Mychal Cooper

2020-21 // Freshman Year (Football)
• Opted to only play football his rookie year
• A starter at quarterback in 3 (Tulane, Tulsa, Army) of the 5 games in which he played
• Finished as the Mids’ third-leading rusher with 210 yards on 59 carries and completed 4 of his 12 passes for 27 yards
• Became just the fifth freshman in program history to start at quarterback in the annual Army-Navy Game, joining Mike Roban (1974), Alton Grizzard (1987), Jim Kubiak (1991) and Keenan Reynolds (2012)
• Paced the Mids in rushing at Army with a career-high 109 yards (team finished with 108) that was highlighted by the team’s longest run from scrimmage this year, a 52-yarder

High School
• 2020 graduate of Shoreham-Wading River High School
• Three-sport athlete who earned letters in basketball (2), football (4) and lacrosse (5)
• Ranked #5 overall and #4 among attackman on the Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Incoming Recruits
• Earned a 5-star recruit rating by Inside Lacrosse
• Four-time all-county attackman for Shoreham-Wading River’s lacrosse team
• Earned All-America, First-Team All-State and First-Team All-Long Island honors in lacrosse his senior year
• Led the lacrosse team to the 2019 New York State Championship with an 18-3 record
• Three-time All-State and all-county football standout who played both quarterback and cornerback
• First-Team All-State selection in football his senior year
• Member of two Long Island Championship football teams - 2016 (10-2) and 2019 (11-1)

• Sister, Jesse, is a graduate of Stony Brook where she was a member of the women’s lacrosse team (2018-22)
