• Hatef in 2010-11 (So.): Made his lone appearance of the season at the Clarion Knight Point where he placed sixth ... among his wins was a 1-0 victory over Army[apos]s Daniel Mills.
• 2009-10 (Fr.): Made his collegiate debut at the Nittany Lion Open were he was edged in both of his matches.
• High School: A 2009 graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School, Hatef was a three-year wrestling letterwinner ... state champion as a senior, while also earning All-State (Md.) honors ... served as team captain his senior year ... lost just four matches during his three-year varsity career ... was twice a top-four placewinner at the prep nationals.
• Personal: Son of Jeff and Dondre Hatef ... majoring in English, he boasts a 3.86 GPA ... stands 56th in his class (1,144) in academic order of merit and is in the top 12 percent in overall order of merit.
