Navy’s starter at 133 pounds in 12 duals … Posted a 10-11 overall record and went 7-5 in duals … Picked up a win by a 3-2 decision against No. 10 Vinnie Santaniello to help the Mids beat No. 16 Pitt, 21-12 … Also defeated No. 14 Kurt Phipps by a 3-1 decision in TB1 in Navy’s, 34-7, win over Bucknell … Wrestled in the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and Franklin & Marshall Open … Represented the Mids at the EIWA Championship.

Navy’s starter at 133 pounds in 10 duals … Recorded a 22-11 overall record and a 7-3 dual record during freshman season … Earned a top national ranking of No. 30 by InterMat in the 133-pound weight class … Made appearances in the Clarion Open, Bearcat Open, Soldier Salute and Franklin & Marshall Open … Earned first collegiate victory against Todd Carter of Gardner-Webb by a 5-2 decision … Finished a perfect 5-0 to place first at the Franklin & Marshall Open for first tournament title … Placed third at the Solider Salute with a 4-1 record and sixth at the Clarion Open with a 3-2 record … Earned dual victories against South Dakota State, Kent State, Lehigh, Hofstra, Binghamton, Lock Haven and Army … Defeated Tanner Jordan of South Dakota State by a 4-3 decision to win first dual match … Claimed the match over No. 33 nationally-ranked Gable Strickland by a 5-3 decision … Scored a takedown and two-point near fall in final 10 seconds of his match against Army’s Rich Treanor to win by a 7-3 decision, helping Navy win the Star Match, 18-13 … Posted a 3-1 record at the EIWA Championship to place fourth and earn an automatic qualifying spot in the NCAA Championship … Upset Lehigh’s No. 5 nationally-ranked Connor Mcgonagle in the second round of the EIWA Championship … Was one of only 17 true freshmen to qualify for the NCAA Championship.
