Naval Academy Athletics

• Lambert in 2016-17 (So.):  Navy’s starting 133 pounder who posted a 5-17 record, including a 1-6 mark in dual competition ... competed at five regular-season tournaments, claiming fourth at the All-Academy Championship ... earned his first collegiate victory by way of a 6-1 decision over Bucknell’s Mike Macklin at the Navy Classic ... went 0-2 in his first appearance at the EIWA Championship.

• 2015-16 (Fr.):  Did not see any varsity action.

• High School: A 2014 graduate of Cascia Hall High School in Tulsa, Okla., Lambert attended Naval Academy Prep School during the 2014-15 academic year ... a four-year wrestling letterwinner, he was crowned the state champion in 2013 ... garnered All-State (Okla.) honors as a senior, while also serving as team captain his senior year ... member of the National Honor Society.

• Personal: Son of Steve and Amy Lambert ... brother, Josh, wrestled at Newman University ... majoring in Economics ... named to the Commandant’s List the fall of his freshman year.
