Biography

• Doyle in 2017-18 (Jr.):  Turned in a 6-6 record over the course of the season where he saw action at the Ursinus Fall Brawl, the Navy Classic and the Edinboro Open ... dropped a 14-2 major decision to Bucknell’s Drew Phipps in his first career dual appearance ... placed second at the Fall Brawl.

• 2016-17 (So.):  Competed in three tournament where he recorded a combined 1-5 record ... earned an 11-8 decision over Bucknell’s Kyle Inlander at the Navy Classic to earn his first collegiate victory.

• 2015-16 (Fr.):  Did not wrestle ... was a member of the Navy football team.

• High School: A 2014 graduate of McKinney Christian High School, Doyle attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2014-15 academic year ... a three-sport athlete who earned letters in football (4), track & field (4) and wrestling (4) ... a three-time All-State (Texas) defensive back, who twice earned All-State honors as a running back ... a three-time all-district honoree ... named the 2012 TAPPS District II 3A Player of the Year, the 2011 TAPPS District II 3A Offensive MVP and the 2010 TAPPS District II 3A Newcomer of the Year ... named to the 2012 Greater Dallas/Fort Worth All-Area Team ... a starter in the 2014 Dallas/Fort Worth All-Star Game ... a two-time state champion in wrestling, he won the 160-pound title as a junior and the 182-pound crown as a senior ... earned First-Team Academic All-State in both football and wrestling ... member of the National Honor Society ... brother, Christian, is a 2018 graduate of Army where he was a member of the wrestling team.
