Navy’s starter at 174 pounds in 13 duals … Concluded freshman campaign with an overall record of 25-13 and went 7-6 in duals … Finished in a tie for the second-most victories on the team during the season … Led the Mids with five overtime wins … Earned first collegiate victory over Braxton Lewis (8-5) in Navy’s win over VMI … Won duals against VMI, American, Oklahoma, Lehigh, Binghamton, Lock Haven and Bucknell … Crowned a champion at the Navy Classic … Became the first Navy freshman to earn a first-place finish since Joe Locksmith (141) in 2010 … Additionally, he is the first mid to win a title at 174 pounds since Jadaen Bernstein in 2016 … Took fourth place at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, where he claimed his first win over a ranked wrestler against No. 23 Alexander Faison of N.C.
