• Sutton in 2015-16 (Fr.), 2016-17 (So.): Did not see any varsity action.

• High School: A 2014 graduate of Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Md., Sutton attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2014-15 academic year ... a four-year wrestling letterwinner, he was a three-time All-State (Md.) selection and three-time state champion ... he won state titles as a freshman and sophomore, however, missed the championship his junior year after tearing his meniscus right before the tournament ... came back to win his third title in his senior year ... served as team captain his final three seasons.

• Personal: Son of Joe and Nazi Sutton ... majoring in Systems Engineering, he owns a 3.11 grade-point average.
