2021-22 // Senior Year
• Navy’s starter at 125 pounds, he posted a 17-14 overall record and a 4-6 dual record.
• Made appearances in the Clarion Open, Bearcat Open, Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite and Franklin & Marshall Open.
• Went 5-0 at the Bearcat Open to take first place and 3-1 at the Franklin & Marshall Open to take second.
• Earned dual victories against Maryland, Cleveland State, Binghamton and Army.
• Defeated Ryan Chauvin of Army with a 5-1 decision to help the Midshipmen beat Army 22-9.
• Went 1-2 at EIWA Championship, defeating 11th seeded Robbie Chauvin of LIU with a fall in 2:44.
2020-21 // Junior Year
• Navy wrestled a COVID-shortened season that did not include tournaments outside of the EIWA and NCAA Championships.
• Navy’s starter at 133 pounds, he posted a 9-7 record that included a 3-3 dual mark
• Seeded No. 7 at the 2021 EIWA Championship, he upset the No. 2 seed (Darren Miller, Bucknell / Major 10-1) and No. 6 seed (Mark Montgomery, Army / Dec 3-1 SV) to earn the opportunity to wrestle in the finals.
• Fell short in a 4-2 decision to top-seeded Malyke Hines of Lehigh in the championship
• Earned his first-career NCAA Championship berth by way of his second-place finish at the EIWA Championship.
• Turned in a 1-2 record at the NCAA Championship that included a 7-1 win over Oklahoma’s Anthony Madrigal in sudden victory.
2019-20 // Sophomore Year
• Bumped up to 133 pounds where he put together a 12-5 record, including a 4-0 dual mark.
• Put together a 4-0 record to win the East Stroudsburg Open and went 3-1 at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial to take second.
• Earned dual victories against California Baptist, Lehigh, Drexel, and Duke.
2018-19 // Freshman Year
• Navy’s starter at 125 pounds his rookie campaign, put together a 13-16 overall mark and a 4-6 dual record.
• Earned his first collegiate victory by way of a 5-4 win over second-ranked Ohio State’s Brakan Mead in the opener wrestled at McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Md.
• Placed in a pair of tournaments, taking second at the Bearcat Open and second at the All-Academy Championship.
High School
• 2018 graduate of Poway High School in Poway, Calif.
• Four-year wrestling letter winner.
• Placed eighth at state as a junior and fourth at state as a senior.
• Won the 10th Annual Battle of the Belt by defeating state champion Nic Aguilar.
• Poway HS placed third at the California State Championship in 2017 and ’18.
• Three-time member of the all-academic team.
