• McVay in 2011-12 (Jr.): Competed at both the Knight Point Open and the Navy Classic.
• 2010-11 (So.): Made his lone appearance at the Navy Classic where he turned in a 1-3 record and placed sixth ... defeated Campbell's Justin Sparrow by way of fall in the consolation round.
• 2009-10 (Fr.): Saw his only action of the year at the Central New Jersey Open where he posted a 2-1 record ... earned his first-collegiate victory by way of a 10-1 major decision against Nassau Community College's Joey Walsh.
• High School: A 2008 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vt., McVay attended Wyoming Seminary Prep School in Kingston, Pa. during the 2008-09 academic year ... a two-sport standout who earned three letters in both wrestling and football ... member of the wrestling program that won Vermont State Championships from 2005-08 ... claimed individual state crowns at 189 pounds as a junior and senior.
