• McLaughlin in 2016-17 (So.): Recorded a 1-1 record at the Bearcat Open, earning a 10-4 decision over Army’s Christian Doyle.

• 2015-16 (Fr.): Competed in three tournaments en route to a 1-6 record ... earned his lone victory of the season is his collegiate a opener, pinning (3:35) Southern Maine’s Corey Benson ... saw action at the East Stroudsburg Open, the Navy Classic and the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial.

• High School: A 2015 graduate of The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, N.J., McLaughlin was a three-sport athlete who lettered in cross country (4), track & field (3) and wrestling (4) ... a three-time All-American, who placed eighth (2013), seventh (2014) and sixth (2015) at the state meet ... wrestling team won the 2015 county title ... was the state champion in the pole vault his senior year.
