• Brown in 2016-17 (Fr.):  Made his lone appearance of his rookie season at the Navy Classic where he posted a 1-2 record ... earned a 4-0 victory over George Mason’s Justin Hite for his first collegiate win.

• High School: A 2015 graduate of Granby High School in Norfolk, Va., Brown attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2015-16 academic year ... a two-sport standout, he was a four-year letterwinner in football and wrestling ... a two-time All-City (Eastern District) selection in football, who also served as team captain his junior and senior years ... member of the National Honor Society, the Upward Bound Program and NJROTC.
