• High School: A 2013 graduate of South Windsor High School in South Windsor, Conn., Odell attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2013-14 academic year ... a two-sport athlete who earned letters in football and wrestling ... a three-time Connecticut Class LL Champion (2010, ‘12, 13), he was also a two-time State Open Champion (2012, ‘13) ... served as team captain of both sports, including both his junior and senior year in wrestling.

• Personal: Son of the late Lemuel Odell III and Gayle Odell ... brother, Jake, wrestled at Stevens Institute of Technology ... majoring in History, he owns a 3.11 grade-point average.
