2022-23 // Junior Year
Switched to 133 pounds during junior season … Recorded a 7-5 overall record and a 1-0 dual record … Finished in fifth place at the Navy Classic with a 4-1 record … Also competed in the Bearcat Open and Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational … Won lone dual contest of the season against Maryland’s Jackson Cockrell by a 7-3 decision.
2021-22 // Sophomore Year
Navy’s starter at 141 pounds for 10 of 11 dual matches, he posted an 8-14 overall record and a 2-8 dual record … Took first place at the Navy Classic, defeating InterMat nationally-ranked No. 25 Darren Miller of Bucknell in the championship match … Earned dual victories over Hofstra and Cleveland State … Defeated Justin Hoyle of Hofstra by a 6-4 decision in sudden victory for first collegiate dual victory … Went 1-2 at the EIWA Championship, defeating eighth-seeded Danny Coles of Princeton by a 7-5 decision.
2020-21 // Freshman Year
Navy wrestled a COVID-shortened season that did not include tournaments outside of the EIWA and NCAA Championships … Made appearances in eight “extra matches” over the course of the season where he put together a 6-2 record … Earned his first-collegiate victory by way of a 15-6 major decision over Clarion’s Seth Koleno which was also the first of five consecutive wins for Hunt.

A 2019 graduate of Dalton High School in Dalton, Ga. … Four-year wrestling letter winner (3 at Sonoraville HS, 1 at Dalton HS) … Four-time Georgia State Champion - at Sonoraville HS 113 lbs in 2016, 120 lbs in 2017, 132 lbs in 2018; at Dalton HS 132 lbs in 2019 … Was undefeated his senior year (69-0) … 2019 National High School Coaches Association All-American (placed second) … 2018-19 Daily Citizen-News Wrestler of the Year.
