Responsibilities: Baseball
Abbey Coutu, ATC, currently serves as an athletic trainer for the Naval Academy’s baseball team.
Coutu began her time at Navy in July of 2026 following a year-long internship at the University of Virginia. During her stay in Charlottesville, she worked directly with the Cavaliers' baseball team.
Coutu earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from William and Mary in 2023 and later her master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Georgia in 2025. During her time at William and Mary, she worked with the football team, while at UGA, she spent time working with the football team and track & field programs. She also has internship experience with the University of South Florida baseball team and Brown University women’s basketball team.
A native of New Kent, Virginia, Coutu is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
