Anthony Zehyoue is in his first year as assistant offensive line coach.
Zehyoue comes to Navy from the Naval Academy Preparatory School, where in two years he led NAPS to a 15-0 record while serving as the offensive coordinator and coaching the quarterbacks (2025) and offensive line (2024). NAPS averaged 47 points per game in 2025 and 35 points per game in 2024.
Prior to NAPS, Zehyoue coached for 10 years at Loyola Blakefield High School and served as the head coach from 2017-24. Zehyoue led the Dons football program to two Turkey Bowl victories (2021 and 2023) over Calvert Hall, snapping a winless streak that stretched back to 2013. His overall coaching record at Loyola was 38-28.
Zehyoue was also part of the coaching staff at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge from 2009-15.
Zehyoue played four years at LSU (2004-07), where he walked on and eventually earned a scholarship. He was a member of the 2007 National Championship team and earned the Eye of the Tiger Award in 2007, which is presented to a student-athlete of any sport who has demonstrated immense perseverance, dedication and determination in overcoming significant adversity.
Zehyoue is a 2007 graduate of LSU, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history. He earned a Master of Arts in teaching from LSU in 2009 and a post-master’s certificate in leadership in 2023 from Loyola University Maryland.
Zehyoue, a native of Liberia who moved to Baton Rouge due to the First Liberian Civil War, is married to the former Leah Saal.
