Joined Naval Academy Athletic Association: July 2024
Antonio Johnson joined the Navy staff in July 2024 as an assistant athletic communications director. He is responsible for covering the rugby, track and field, triathlon and wrestling programs.
Prior to Navy, Johnson spent the 2023-24 season at Michigan State as an athletic communications staff assistant. He served as the primary media contact for field hockey, wrestling and women’s tennis, and assisted with football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
Johnson spent a year and a half as a student worker for his alma mater, Delaware Valley University, and an additional two years as a sports information graduate assistant. With the Aggies, he assisted with football, baseball, softball, wrestling, field hockey, men's and women's basketball, lacrosse and soccer.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2021 and a master’s degree in management and organizational leadership in 2023.
Johnson resides in Annapolis with his wife, Julie, and dog, Ven.
