Smith joined the Naval Academy Athletic Association in August of 2026 as the assistant director of creative content.
Smith previously worked at the University of Tennessee in the VFL Films Producation Department as a production assistant from May 2024 to June 2026. While with the Vols, she led the creative video productions for UT Softball and was in charge of creating high-quality content for social media, recruiting, long-form stories and in-venue entertainment. Additionally, Smith led the creative efforts for the Volunteers' nationally-ranked swimming and diving and rowing programs.
A five-year member of the women's basketball team at Marymount University (Va.), Smith was a three-time captain and led the program to back-to-back Atlantic East Conference Championships in 2023 and 2024. She attained her undergraduate degree in communications in 2023 and later earned her masters in business administration in 2024.
While at Marymount, she interned with the school's communications department for four years, with additional internship opportunities at Virginia Tech during the summer of 2021 and Weber State the following summer semester.
