Cook also develops and administers varsity team travel budgets, and is the primary conduit between NAAA and USNA Transportation.

Cook serves as the lead for Special Operations, including the Veterans Classic Basketball Event.  This event gives participating schools the opportunity to experience life as a Midshipman, as well as the history and traditions of the Academy. Games are televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.  The following teams have participated in the Veterans Classic, during his tenure:

ACC: North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech.

In addition to Camps, Team Travel, and Special Operations responsibilities, Cook is also responsible for overseeing and managing investment properties owned by the Naval Academy Foundation. Cook is the sport administrator for Men's Water Polo, Men's Heavyweight Crew, Men's Lightweight Crew, and Women's Rowing.

During his tenure at the NAAA, Cook has served in other various roles, including: Summer Camps Manager, Naval Academy Golf Association Business Affairs, Ticket Office Administrator, and an administrator in the Business Office.
