Capt. John O'Neill, USN (ret.) serves Senior Associate Athletic Director for Admissions and Academics. O'Neill is also the sport administrator of Navy's women's soccer, rifle, intercollegiate and offshore sailing programs.

Capt. O'Neill brings a wide range of academic and professional experience to his position having served numerous positions at the Naval Academy including a Battalion Officer, Deputy Commandant and Director of the Division of Mathematics and Science.

He has also served as the Chair of the Admissions Board and as a member of the Academic Board.
