Naval Academy Athletics

Jonathan Wright serves as the Vanderstar Chair for the Naval Academy Sailing Foundation, working heavily with the Navy offshore sailing team. He has the responsibility of setting safety and training guidelines for the Naval Academy's sailing programs. Wright has also served as a volunteer coach for the offshore sailing team in the past.

Wright was an Intercollegiate Sailor of the Year at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and was inducted into the America’s Cup Hall of Fame in recognition of his three Cup victories.
