Katie Beard serves as the Director of Social Media with the NAAA.
She came to Annapolis after most recently working with the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) as a social media assistant and the University of South Florida in their athletic communications office as a media contact for the Bulls' women's lacrosse, men's soccer and beach volleyball teams. Additionally, she was the social media and digital content manager for South Florida's athletic department where she produced and managed multimedia content (photo, video and graphics) and contributed to growth of the Bulls' audience. Beard was also in charge of leading and mentoring a team of student interns, providing creative direction, training and game day coordination.
Beard holds a pair of degrees from the University of South Florida; a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication and an MBA & MS in Sport and Entertainment Management from the Vinik Sport and Entertainment Management Program (VSEM).
