Rett Warren is a member of the Strength and Conditioning staff at Navy, working directly with the women's lacrosse, water polo, men's and women's golf and track & field (throwers) programs.
Prior to coming to the Naval Academy, Warren worked in the strength & conditioning field at a variety of colleges and NFL teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, the University of California Los Angeles, the University of Maryland, the University of South Florida, and the College of William & Mary.
The UCLA Bruins were the Pac-10 football champions during Warren's tenure. At South Florida, Warren was on the strength & conditioning staff when football was added to the university sports program. As an undergraduate college intern, Rett was on the University of Pennsylvania's weight-room staff when their football team had an undefeated season and won the Ivy League title.
He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 1996. Warren is also certified as a USA Track and Field level I coach, and a Level II Senior coach with USA Weightlifting. Warren is a former nationally ranked powerlifter and as an Olympic Weightlifting Coach, he has coached a collegiate national champion and has had in athlete compete in a national meet every year for the past 10 years.
Warren has a bachelor's degree in health fitness from Salisbury University, where he was a member of the football and track teams. The Laurel, Md. native currently lives in Stoney Beach.
