Robb Dunn serves as the Deputy Director of Athletics/Administration. He is the sport administrator for Football, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Gymnastics, Men’s and Women’s Rugby, and Triathlon, and supports the Director of Athletics in strategic initiatives and special projects. Dunn oversees Football administration, operations, and budget, including scheduling, team travel, and Navy's participation in neutral site (Army-Navy and Notre Dame) and postseason bowl games. In addition, he has oversight of the Naval Academy's competitive intercollegiate Club Sports program, including nationally recognized teams like Boxing, Hockey, Softball, and Triathlon.
 
Dunn is also a member of the Naval Academy Golf Association’s Advisory Committee, providing guidance on the operation and recent $6 million restoration of the Naval Academy Golf Course.

Previous responsibilities at NAAA included serving from 2007 to 2018 as the Executive Director of the Blue-N*-Gold, the membership component of the Naval Academy Athletic Association.  In this role, Dunn led NAAA’s annual giving efforts and coordinated annual and capital fundraising efforts supporting Navy Athletics with the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation.

Dunn served on the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Committee from 2006 to 2012, including a three-year stint as chair, 2009-2012. He also coordinated Navy's responsibilities as host institution for the 2009 Frozen Four, the NCAA Division I Hockey Championship, in Washington, DC and as host of the NHL’s 2018 Stadium Series game between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs in Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Prior to Navy, Dunn spent six years working at the College of William & Mary as Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities & Operations and Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations.  In addition to overseeing athletic facilities and game operations for the Tribe, he was responsible for $32 million in capital improvements during his tenure.  He was also the sport supervisor for baseball, men’s and women’s gymnastics, and men’s soccer.

Before his time in Williamsburg, he worked at the University of Michigan in facilities and game management, as a Lecturer/Graduate Student Instructor in Sport Management & Communications and Urban Planning, and served as a consultant through the Sport Facilities Research Laboratory.  He also worked the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta as an Olympic Stadium Cluster Supervisor.

Dunn earned his master's degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan in 1994 and his bachelor's degree in history from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993. He has also completed coursework towards his doctorate in urban, technological and environmental planning through the University of Michigan.

Dunn currently lives in Annapolis with his wife, Jaime, and their daughters, Nora and Kate.
