Brian Sellers serves as an Associate Director of Equipment Operations. Sellers works with the men's lacrosse, gymnastics, water polo, rifle and women's tennis programs.
Prior to Navy, Sellers worked as Head Equipment Manager at the University of Virginia for seven years. Sellers was part of the 2011 men's lacrosse and 2009 men's soccer national championship teams while at Virginia. He also has worked for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Central Virginia and the Owings Mills Sports Arena.
Sellers, a native of Baltimore, Md., received his bachelor's degree in physical education and sport management from West Virginia University in 1996. He earned his master's degree from WVU in 1998 in athletic coaching education while serving as a graduate assistant manager. He also was a student manager for the Mountaineer men's basketball team as an undergraduate.
Sellers is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Manger's Association (AEMA).
Sellers, a member of the United States Army Reserve from 1997-2005, served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 299th Engineer Company.
Sellers and his wife, Tracey, a teacher for Anne Arundel County Public Schools, have a daughter, Brianna. They reside in Annapolis.
