Lewis Suspended

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Naval Academy head basketball coach Don DeVoe announced today that senior guard Jehiel Lewis (Houston, Texas) has been suspended for violating Academy rules. The rules violation was an Academy violation and not of a criminal nature. The suspension dates back to last spring and it is undetermined when Lewis will be able to play.

Navy opens the 2001-02 season on Sunday, Nov. 4 with an exhibition game against Lee University at 3 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
