CBS To Televise Army-Navy Men's Basketball Game

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-CBS will televise Saturday's men's basketball game between Navy (10-18, 5-8 in the Patriot League) and Army (11-15, 5-8 in the Patriot League) live from Christl Arena starting at 12 noon. The winner of the game will take home the coveted Star and Alumni Trophy.

The game can be seen on the following CBS affiliates: WUSA (Washington, DC), WJZ (Baltimore), WBOC (Salisbury), WRGB (Albany, N.Y.), WCBS (New York City), WTKR (Norfolk, Va.) and WJXT (Jacksonville, Fla.). Don Criqui will call the play-by-play and Bob Wenzel will handle the color commentary.

Navy has won the Star-Game nine consecutive years and the Mids have won 23 of the last 24 overall games against the Black Knights, all under the watch of Navy head coach Don DeVoe. Army head coach Pat Harris is 0-11 against the Midshipmen.

A win over Army would give DeVoe his 500th career win, which would make him only the 57th coach in NCAA history to accomplish that feat and one of only 22 active coaches.

The Mids demolished the Black Knights, 79-61, earlier this year in Alumni Hall. Since that game Navy has lost six of its last seven.
