Navy Targets MIT, Wentworth and Mass Maritime

Annapolis, Md. -- Navy rifle (3-0) will travel to Cambridge, Mass., for a match with MIT, Wentworth and Massachusetts Maritime on Saturday.
The Mids are coming off a successful opening weekend that saw three school records fall as the team took victories over Duquesne and Penn State. Junior Matt Albright (Shelton, Conn./Christian Heritage) picked up a new school record with an 1182 in the smallbore while the team posted a smallbore score of 4651 and a 6204 total score, both of which eclipsed the old records. Navy followed up with a win over Akron on Sunday.
Senior Marta Jung (Reno, Nev./Robert McQueen) led the team with a 392 in air rifle on Saturday and a 391 on Sunday. In his second collegiate competition, freshman Chris Schneider (Fort Mill, S.C./Fort Mill) led the way for the Mids, notching the top score in both smallbore ( 1157) and air rifle (393).
