Women's Basketball to Hold Midnight Practice
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy women's basketball team invites all fans to join the players as they hold their first official practice of the 2004-05 season with a midnight practice Friday night in Halsey Field House.
The practice is open to the public and attending fans will be invited to participate in various contests starting at 11:30 p.m., with the chance to win season tickets being just one of the prizes offered. Once the clock strikes midnight, the team will take to the court for a three-point shooting contest and a scrimmage.
Fans interested in attending are asked to walk through gate one of the Naval Academy grounds and must have a government issued photo identification card, such as a drivers license.
